Copyright and takedowns
Last updated 18 October 2026
People who post on Guyana Paws must only use photos and words they have the right to use. If you think something on the site uses your photo or text without permission, tell us and we’ll look into it.
Asking us to remove something
Use the contact page and include:
- the web address of each page,
- which photo or text is yours, and where you first published it,
- your name and how to reach you, and
- a statement that the information is accurate and that you own the work or are allowed to act for the owner.
What happens next
We usually reply within a few days. If the request is clear, we remove or hide the content and let the person who posted it know. If they believe it was removed by mistake, they can contact us with their reasons, and we may put it back if the matter is unclear. People who repeatedly post others’ work may lose their account.
